For treating patients the unique weakly mineralized hydrocarbonate-sulphate calcium-magnesium-sodium water with high contents of organic substances of the "Naphtusya" spring is used.
The organic substances contained in the water (naphtens, humins, bitumens and phenols) are readily absorbed in blood in the stomach and upper sections of the jejunum and increase urination, stimulate the elimination of urinary sand and small concrements, dissolve and eliminate mucus from the urinary tract. They intensify mineral metabolism and the absorption of water from the intestines and stimulate detoxication of toxins in the liver, activate intestinal microflora and promote production of antibacterial and biologically active components.
